The Prelude Cello Case is popular for its light weight and insulation properties.
The shell is made from a dense, pressurized Styrofoam covered with a black screw attached, Cordura cover. Interior of plush black velveteen. Weight (4/4) 7 lbs.

- 2 handles, 1 to pull case on wheels; 1 for carrying at side

I am very happy with my 4/4 case. It protects the cello better than a soft gig case, at a lower price than most hard shell cases. I had a problem with a cracked wheel after a year and a half of use. Customer Service answered my email immediately and sent me a free replacement part within days.

light weight, good looking, very awkward finishing details inside – bow holder too tight, nylon strap which keeps the case from opening too far has to be tucked in by hand every time the case is closed, padding material very thin, plastic zipper closure I hope will last…overall a little over-priced for the quality, but works when you can’t afford a better case

Great case! We had a much older model of this that was falling apart. This new one is seriously upgraded. much heftier zipper, better spaced wheels, better bow holders. Super happy with it! Great price with a cyber monday discount!

This little case is perfect for my half size cello. It’s lightweight, not too bulky, and reasonably priced.
