    I’m no expert

I bought a used cello recently to learn on. The seller told me that the bow would need to be re-haired. After checking with my local luthier, he told me that the bow was as playable as it ever would be because it was a $75 fiberglass model, and it would cost me enough money to re-hair the bow that it might be worth getting a different bow. I bought this bow on a whim, and was immediately blown away by the difference in sound between it, and the cheap fiberglass one that came with my cello. I have a long way to go in my training, but I can tell you that this bow is not going to be a major hurdle. Also…. it’s very pleasant to look at.
