A good bow for the price. My daughter uses it for her high school orchestra (her previous one broke).

  4. Very tip-heavy

    Travis (verified owner)

I ordered this bow in 3/4 size for a beginner student not having had any experience with this brand before. I was attracted by the price and the composition, since I figured it would not warp as a wood bow might. Upon arrival, I hefted it and found that though the bow was lightweight, the tip was very heavy and the bow was off balance, which I found unsuitable for a beginner, so I returned it. Because of that, I didn’t rosin it up to see how it would play, so I can’t speak to the sound it makes. However, the customer service agent I spoke to about the return was very responsive and said he would send my feedback to the right people, so hopefully the quality of this bow will improve in future productions.
