Our Franz Werner Concert violin comes from the rich, complex German tradition of violin making. This eloquent and energetic violin is a great choice for the advancing pre-professional player working on refining musical technique. The sweet and balanced tone of this beautifully carved instrument, will bring a sophisticated element to your performances.
Carvedfrom quality tone-woods, the Franz Werner Concert violin is composed of a spruce top of medium grain, a two-piece backof light, narrow to broad flame (ribs and scroll similar to back), and slightly antiqued: finished in a spirit varnish of amber on a golden ground. Each violin is shop-adjusted by our experienced, in-house luthiers to assure excellent playability. Outfit includes #VACR7 Kaplan rosin, and yourchoice of caseand bow.Made in Germany.

This violin has really done me well throughout the year I have had it. It contains such a deep sad sound on the strings. Definitely getting much more than the price shows.
