I have been using the Weich strings on my viola for 26 years and I changed from the medium when I acquired the instrument, as they eliminated the wolf. They let me produce a lovely warm tone. I’ve tried other strings, but come back to the Weich, because they’re a good fit for my instrument.

Bought the Viola in August 2014 with these strings. The ‘A’ broke in February 2015 and again the ‘A’ broke today in August 2015. I would give 5 stars for sound, 1 star for the durability of the ‘A’ sting. So that averages to 3 stars.
