I had a old violin and it sounded so bad but after I got this violin it made me so happy at how is sounded. I play at church so I use a mic and on the other violin it sounded so bad but when I put the mic on this one it made my life better. This is certainly a good violin that will last me a long time.

I wanted to play a violin for decades, but never had to time. when I decided to stop putting everything hold and got the Prelude.
after 8 month and 250 hour of practice. I couldn’t ask for a better beginner partner. yes, we off grow the capabilities of our first violin.
if you get the right bow and string. it really wakes up and product some great tones. (I use a carbine fiber bow and a set of violino string).
I had a violin instructor surprised on the cost to the sound it produced.

These violins are always super consistently good quality for the price, and produce a great tone for a student instrument! My music studio owns one in each size (also Prelude Violas), and it’s always what I recommend first to my students (who aren’t limited to buying/renting locally). There can be some variation in color, etc., from instrument to instrument, and it’s neat they’re not all exactly the same while always being reliable and easy to tune.

I bought the 1/10 for my 4 year old. It’s a great little starter violin. I changed the package a little bit and added the Dominant strings, upgraded to a fiberglass bow, better rosin, added a bow grip and a bow guard. She’s doing great and is started to make clear sounds after a few days.
