Thomastik-InfeldSpirocore viola strings are a warm, projecting set of strings made of multi-wire, spiraled steel core (similar to a rope core). Known for their versatility between arco and pizzicato, Spirocore strings offer a dark, warm sound with strong projection. These strings are designed for a more pliable touch under the fingers, while remaining somewhat responsive and focused. Thomastik Spirocore strings are similar to Thomastik Superflexible strings in warmth, with greater clarity of sound. The Thomastik Spirocore C string is a popular choice in mixed sets.
