First of all, the Es of this line are excellent. I would definitely recommend picking some up to try since they’re not so expensive.
The rest of the strings I feel are ok. They settle quickly and last a long time. In addition they are loud with a reasonably balanced sound (not too bright or too warm); however, while they have sizzle to them, they are not complex and the sound away from the instrument is somewhat disappointing. They have lower than average bow nose.
Part of the reason may be that they are fairly high tension. Despite this, they do not respond well to slow bows or pressure, though their loudness does compensate for this somewhat.
Even though the tension is higher, I have found they play well with Dominants. Mixing the lower strings with a Dominant A gives you some of the superior sound quality of the Dominants with the ability to go ham on the G-string. Nonetheless, they aren’t really worth the price in my opinion.

I have been fortunate to be able to try many different violin strings over the years. Peter Infeld D and G are my picks. The A is also quite good depending my application. These strings play nicely with several E strings to tailor a set for your specific needs.
