Pirastro Aricore violin strings have a core made from polyester and produce a warmer sound with a dark timbre. They are brought up to tune quickly and are extremely stable, with little to no effect from variations in temperature or humidity.

Available for 4/4 Violin


Pirastro Aricore standard set includes:

Estring: Unwound steel

Astring: Aluminum over Polyester

Dstring: Aluminum over Polyester

Gstring: Silver over Polyester

Alternate windings for A and D individual strings are also available:

    Sound quality is nice for playing online. D string sounds uneven on my very even violin. May have to change it out. Otherwise very nice tone for a fraction of the cost of my preferred brand.
