D’Addario Ascenté violin strings are synthetic-core strings intended for players of all levels and ages. While the E strings are made of tinned carbon steel and the A strings are Aluminum-wound, the D and G strings are wound with Monel: a nickel-copper alloy with high tensile strength and resistance to corrosion.
The Ascenté Violin set has solid orange silking at the ball end. Available in medium tension only.

I bought an A and E string to replace the ones that wore out to pair with my D and G Zyex and the pairing is fantastic. The A isn’t twangy and the E is smooth. They last forever and at an affordable price!
