Warchal Brilliant violin strings offer concert-hall projection, luxurious and rich tonal complexity, as well as superior durability and responsiveness. These synthetic-core strings need about three to four days to settle in before achieving full tone quality. The Brilliant advanced synthetic core set is intended for players who seek strong projection, quick break in time, and good tuning stability.
Two D strings are available: the Hydronalium provides greater projection; while the silver produces a warmer, mellower tone.

I bought these strings (just the D and G) after researching and researching probably every Warchal line of strings and while i LOVED the Avantgarde A and the Amber E, these strings were the complete opposite. It was even recommended on the Warchal website as a combo set including the two aforementioned upper strings with these lower ones which is why I took a chance and I 100% wish i hadn’t. Even after the strings had set, they sound so so tinny. To get a good sound I can’t use more than 40% of the power i could with my Evah Pirazzi G string. Any more and the sound would be distorted. The Brilliant D string sounded worse on my Zhu Gold violin than my $350 violin’s Dominants that were probably 3 years old. I’ve since invested in Thomastik-Infield Rondo lower strings and look forward much more to those. Don’t buy these strings.
