    My new favorite fiddle strings!

    Austin (verified owner)

I play American old-time fiddle and have previously been a pretty diehard Prim fan but had found Prim to be alittle too bright and thin sounding on my main fiddle so was looking for a warmer sounding steel string. I had previously tried Helicore they are warmer than Prim but I don’t really care for their feel and find them not as long lasting as Prim. These Superflexible have the warmth of the helicores due to their stranded steel rope core but with the durability of Prim due to their chromium windings. I highly recommend giving a set a try If you are looking for a warmer smoother sounding steel string for fiddle playing.

I love the quick response of these strings and they hold up to constant crossing tuning changes.
